About us

Hi, I’m Paola—the face behind Paho 💛

Thank you for being here, it really means so much to me.

A little about me: I’m naturally curious and creative. My mind is always spinning with DIY ideas—whether it’s painting a room, upcycling furniture, redecorating my home, making my kids’ Halloween costumes, or finding new ways to turn something old into something new.

About a year ago, I picked up sewing out of pure curiosity and instantly fell in love. I’ve always been drawn to thrifting, not just for the thrill of finding something unique, but because I’d rather give fabrics a second life than feed into fast consumerism. Sewing felt like the perfect way to merge that love with my desire to create.

Once I got behind a sewing machine, it just clicked: why not rework gently used fabrics instead of letting them go to waste? Reusing what’s already out there made so much more sense than buying new. And that’s how Paho was born—out of creativity, curiosity, and a little love for this planet.

✨ The name: my name is Paola, but my friends and family call me Pao. Paho is just a stylized take on that nickname. Cute, right? ✨

What started as a hobby—making bags as gifts for my family—quickly grew into reworking clothes and experimenting with new ideas. Every piece I make is a mix of curiosity and creativity, with the goal of turning something once forgotten into something you’ll love to carry and use every day.

For me, Paho isn’t just about making something new—it’s about the process as much as the product. I love picking out prints, thrifting fabrics, and imagining all the possibilities each one holds. That’s what keeps me inspired.

Supporting Paho means more than just getting a handmade item—you’re also helping reduce textile waste and making a small but meaningful difference for the planet.

Paho is a very small business that I run on my own, which means every piece is, handmade in small batches, and truly personal and unique.

I appreciate you being here 💛 I hope you find something that feels just as special to you as it was for me to make.
